Investment giant SoftBank has lost its another senior member due to promotion as Carolina Brochado was absorbed in the upper management of the multi-billion firm.
As a London-based partner has withdrew just last week, Brochado will soon assume the role that was left by the former partner. Although she will not act as a partner just yet because they want to assure a smooth transition with a new senior member coming in.
SoftBank has been on the headlines after they declined the request from WeWork tor additional funding and stocks. Aside from WeWork, SoftBank is known for investing in other companies like DoorDash Inc. and Uber Technologies Inc.
Carolina Brochado was known to have raised over $100 million for SoftBank’s Vision Fund via Gympass (a fitness startup) and Behavox (a compliance and employee-monitoring software) this past February. She joined the firm last year.
